Wrekin College is proud to have played host to over forty attendees at the Shropshire Chamber Network Of Women event and lunch on 16 August 2017.
Top Tips for Tapas was held in the new Business School and sponsored by school caterers Elior, whose Executive Development Chef Marco Nonnis showed off his wonderful culinary skills. Marco was a real entertainer and impressed attendees with his enthusiasm for traditional, simple recipes based only on the freshest of produce.
The event included a demonstration preparing a variety of tapas from both sea and land featuring plenty of artisan fresh breads and dips. This was followed by a tasty traditional Catalan lunch with plenty of tapas and delicious Crema Catalana for desert!
Local corporate trainer and business coach Heather Noble of Salt Solutions who is also chair of The Shropshire Chamber Network Of Women said,
'The event was marvellous from start to finish. A warm welcome from the college staff, excellent facilities at the new Business School including the lecture theatre which worked particularly well for the demonstration. Of course, the food was excellent too - lunch in the oak panelled Memorial Hall was a great environment for networking.'
