MUSIC
An orchestra, numerous choral groups, overseas tours, brass groups, jazz groups and class music and GCSE/AS/A-level, whole school productions of opera and musicals, music technology, host to competitive music festivals and summer schools, invitation orchestral play days, fully staffed music school with 15 visiting musicians, some of whom have international careers, jazz band, string groups, professional concerts, concerts for beginners, concerts at Christmas and at the ends of term, and a June summer soiree - Wrekin College has music for everyone. Over half our pupils learn to play at least one instrument.

The school attracts talented pupils from this country and abroad. Some go on to read music at university or study at a conservatoire or music college, some take part in formal school music, whilst others just want to make music and have fun.
