ACADEMIC RESULTS 2008
The energy, curiosity and insatiable appetite of our students is infectious and never more so than on public examination results day. We celebrate this year an outstanding record with 100% A level pass rate, 60% at A and B grade.
 
With such excellent results, we are delighted that all our pupils who applied for University places have been successful in securing their choice and our Oxbridge candidates have secured their places.
 
The 2008 GCSE results were no less impressive with 75% A*- B pass rate and 37% A* or A grades overall.
 
These excellent results are a part of a wider picture of scholarship, creativity, opportunity, and individuality which lie at the heart of the school.  Wrekin values the development of all its pupils, the School in not a factory to produce grades but an establishment to ensure each and every child achieves his or her full potential. All of our students must be congratulated. Talented students need talented staff to teach them. How fortunate we are at Wrekin College.
