Wrekin College

The first week of the holidays was action packed for cadets from both the Army and RAF sections of the contingent.

Locally, Nesscliff Training camp was the home for the Army whereas the RAF headed further afield to RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire. Effective communication skills and good decision-making, being the core themes and they were certainly tested during the course of the week. It was heartening to see so many young people out in the field, learning new skills and testing themselves, when so many of their peers will have been glued to a screen or yet to see the light of day!

The cadets were excellent company and really made the most of the experience. “Awesome” was the word of the week!
