The curriculum in the first three years offers pupils a wide range of subjects without constraining them to any areas of specialism. Every pupil studies English Language, English Literature, Maths, French, German or Spanish, History, Geography, Religious Studies, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Design Technology, Information and Communication Technology, Art, and Music. There is also an extensive co-curricular package of games, creative and performing arts, debating and other activities.
Third Form provides a ‘launching pad’ for the two-year GCSE courses. Advice on suitable GCSE choices is based on assessment throughout the year and performance in internal examinations.
