LANYON BOWDLER DEBATING COMPETITION

On 11th March Wrekin College students were delighted to take part in the Lanyon Bowdler DebateEd Debating Competition at Lanyon Bowdler HQ in Shrewsbury, our pupils worked hard alongside other local schools and we congratulate the over-all winners Meole Brace School.  

All speakers were scored out of 10 for each of their speeches, with a score of 5 representing an average speech. A special mention must go to Lydia Firth who was very impressive and came ninth. There were forty students in total.
