Cross Country - Wrekin take the team medals
Wrekin dominated the Shropshire Schools’ Meeting at Oswestry, especially on the girls’ side. Wrekin had by far the largest contingent of runners, and definitely of supporters.

The top six runners in each age group are picked to represent Shropshire at the All - England Championships in March, six of our runners have been selected for the competition, Jack Huxley-Fielding, Emily Wright, Haydn Gleave, Amy Thomas, Tessa McPhillips and Jenny Young. Four other runners, Ryan Ordidge, Beccy Mack, Sarah Howells and Will Lee, have been selected to represent Shropshire in the next Inter – County meet in Leicestershire.
Wrekin College Swimming Club Swimming is going from strength to strength at Wrekin College. The Club is now officially the top swimming club in the county. Alex Harris was placed top in the 12 year old girl section winning eight gold and two silver medals, Charlie Humphreys was placed top girl overall.
