Sam and Lewis Play for The Lambs

An exciting day in Cambridge as both Sam Knight and Lewis Webb played for the England Lambs!

Playing against Perse School First XV - who are fourth in the NatWest League - the Lambs won 31 - 29. Lewis and Sam both made a big impression; Sam making the first try of the match in a super run past three players and Lewis leading several attempts on the wing, including passing the ball on the line to ensure the second try, rather than going for glory himself. A super effort! The Lambs coaches were equally impressed.

The team is a collection of some of the best independent schools' players, and the National Lambs team tours the world playing some serious opposition - Irish and Welsh teams, Saracens etc, plus this year the Canadian and US Under 18 teams on a world tour.

Sam Knight (Bayley House) is pictured left and Lewis Webb (York House) right. Both are in the West Midlands team, which is one of the four regional teams. The next stage is selection for the Lambs National team - fingers crossed.
