Second Form Art ExhibitionMon 23 Jan 2017
They have created their own pieces of art to help explore the difficult issues surrounding war and to raise awareness of the plight of victims.
Using Picasso’s painting Guernica for inspiration, the children have identified contemporary events they wanted to depict artistically, namely the war in Syria and terrorist attack victims. Their artwork is on show in the Lady Bayley Chapel until the end of term.
Proceeds from the Chapel service collection will be donated to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
