Spicy Saturday Cooking

Students spent another interesting and educating Saturday in the kitchen with Mr Knight, they made beef and roasted butternut squash and peppers; homemade salsa with coriander, lime and jalapeños; spicy mushrooms and courgette and smoked garlic refried black beans with sweet corn. All these dishes were wrapped up in tortillas with sour cream and yoghurt and washed down with green and red drinks - Cucumber Agua Fresca and Sangrita.

It was all very tasty and none of the food made it home to parents!
