Wrekin in the News

Wrekin College breaking news.

In the first few weeks of term Wrekin has featured in two articles in The Times which generated great debate on the subject of whether university is the only option after school, five articles in The Shropshire Star, an article in Welsh Border Life and another in Independent School Parent magazine - the readership of these publications in total is nearly one million. 

Not only has our Head, Tim Firth been featured in these print publications, he has also been heard  live on BBC Radio and Newstalk Radio extolling the virtues of education at Wrekin College and has been interviewed by local TV station Made in Birmingham. Our new Business School has been featured on a number of news websites, including the recently launched Shropshire Business
