The First XI reduced Newcastle-underr-Lyme School to 82 with 6 wickets for Charlie Home. Charlie added an unbeaten 50 to his bowling figures, supported by Elliot Evelyn-Bufton at the end, winning by seven wickets. The Under 13s reduced Newcastle to only 78 runs. The Under 12s had a good win in the week, competing in the Shropshire Plate. Setting 130 against Sir John Talbot's School, they ran out winners by 52 runs. Hopefully these wins at junior level will be followed up this week when the Lancaster A B and C teams play Prestfelde School at the end of term.
