David is currently the Head of Hadden Hall; he is also Deputy Designated Safeguarding Officer, Director of Co-curricular and is on the Senior Management team. He teaches Physical Education GCSE and A level, as well as coaching various sports teams. He is an Old Wrekinian and was formerly Head of PE and Games;  Housemaster of Lancaster Boys and Bayley Head of House.

David graduated with a Sports Degree from The University of Wales, Cardiff and did his PGCE at Birmingham University, initially teaching for six years in the state sector in Birmingham. Before becoming a teacher he spent a year in Australia and also worked as a Chartered Surveying Company whilst studying a part-time degree in Land Management.

Whilst a student, David represented Wales in athletics for three seasons and in 1988 he was the Senior Mens’ 100m Welsh Champion. (He still holds the 200m school record!)

David is married to Jo and they have twin daughters Jessica and Hollie. Apart from trying to keep fit by running and cycling he enjoys his holiday time with the family in France.
