Jeremy joined the staff at Wrekin in January 1998 and has taught Biology to all year groups and more recently has delivered aspects of the PHSE course to Third, Fourth and Fifth Forms. In addition, he is the Head of the Biology Department. He has been a tutor in Roslyn House since arriving at Wrekin. Over the years he has tutored all year groups, but in recent years has particularly enjoyed tutoring the Upper Sixth. On a Monday night, Jeremy can be found in Hadden Hall, helping to look after the boarders. On the co-curricular front, he is the Contingent Commander for the school’s Combined Cadet Force (CCF). Having previously managed the Duke of Edinburgh's Award at the school, he now assists with the scheme as an instructor, expedition assessor and internal verifier for the Bronze Award. In addition, Jeremy organises the House golf competitions and is the link to the Old Wrekinians Golf Society.
In his spare time Jeremy likes to help out on his wife’s allotment and utilise those fresh ingredients in the family kitchen. Mediterranean cooking is high on the list of his favourite styles, especially pasta. In recent times he has dusted off his climbing kit, inspired by his young daughter. This has also prompted a need to be more flexible and he is thoroughly enjoying his first forays into the world of yoga.
