Tony has worked at Wrekin since 2002 and teaches Physics to all year groups, First Form to Upper Sixth. In addition, he has a management responsibility for both the Physics and Chemistry departments as Head of Department. He also manages those aspects of science that affect all three science departments, such as combined science courses and practical assessments. He is the school's Examinations Officer and looks after the administration of all external exams.
He has a role in the implementation of school health and safety policy and is the school's Radiation Protection Supervisor.
Tony has been a tutor in York House for eleven years, prior to which he worked in Lancaster House. Over the years he has tutored all year groups.
Outside of the classroom he works with the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme as an instructor and assessor, predominantly at Bronze level, but he has worked with the higher Silver and Gold levels as well. He runs Physics help sessions during Saturday activities for all of the year groups.
