The three day Netball Camp, which took place in July, welcomed over 50 girls to the campus where they spent time developing their netball skills, passing techniques and gameplay. They took part in a Netball quiz, a final tournament and had special coaching from England Netballer Laura Malcolm who visited the camp.
Luckily the weather held out for the 22 children who participated in the four day Cricket Camp in August. The children were split into two teams who competed against eachother throughout in a variety of drills, game situations and T20 matches. Worcestershire Cricket Club Captian, Joe Leach, visited the camp and offered the children a bowling masterclass, as well as the chance to bowl at him.
The 15 children who attended the Theatre Camp, in association with Strictly Arts Theatre Company, spent their days working together as an ensemble in understanding and developing ideas around William Shakespeare's Macbeth. The children played team building games, worked on a variety of movement techniques, and were guided through analysing and understanding the script, before bringing everything together in a final rehearsal piece.
