THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

Confidence.

A simple three syllable word that is the key to success. Indeed, in an age when personal contact is worth as much as business acumen, it is imperative that we are confident.

Confidence can come in many forms.  It can be the drive that pushes you through a difficult period in life, because you believe you will get through.  It is the ability to reflect upon past failings and be critical in order to improve yourself.  It is your willingness to talk to new and different people outside your friendship group, who may have different interests to you.

People may mistake confidence for arrogance.  Arrogance is someone who believes they are better than others. Confidence is knowing you are only as good as you make yourself, and actively trying to better one’s self.
