Wrekin College Open Morning Saturday 3rd October
Discover Wrekin Prep, Wrekin Senior and Wrekin Sixth at our Open Day on Saturday 3rd October.
We are delighted you would like to get to know us better and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you on Saturday 3rd October 2026. Both Wrekin Prep, Wrekin Senior and Wrekin Sixth will be welcoming visitors on this day with lots of activities, tours, and a chance to meet pupils and staff and ask any admissions questions you may have.
There will be two visitor experiences at Wrekin Senior (including Wrekin Sixth), one beginning at 9.45am (arrival from 9.30am) and the second at 11.15am (arrival from 11am).
Wrekin Prep will be open from 9am until 11am, please feel free to arrive at anytime; to get the most out of your tour we recommend arriving no later than 10.15am.

Start your Wrekin journey by contacting our friendly Admissions Team via email, phone, or by attending one of our Open Events. We’re here to answer all your questions—big or small—and help you begin your journey.

Step 2
Visit Us
There’s no better way to experience Wrekin than to see it for yourself. Open Events are a great chance to learn more about us, but we encourage families to come for a bespoke personalised tour as well.
Step 3
Registration
When you’ve discovered all that we have to offer, the next step is to complete a registration form and pay a small non-refundable administration fee to proceed.
Step 4
Spend some time with us
Wrekin Prep - If you are considering a Reception place for the future, you will be invited to a range of events where you and your child can get to know us better. If your child is already Reception age, or older, we will invite them in for a Taster Day. This allows you and your child to experience what a day at Wrekin Prep is really like.
Wrekin Senior/Wrekin Sixth - Your child can spend the day with us and experience what a day at our school is really like.
Step 5
Offer and Acceptance
Wrekin Prep - After you have spent some time with us and we are all confident that your child will thrive at Wrekin Prep, a place may be offered. Once you have decided to join the Wrekin Prep community you can accept your offer and pay your acceptance fee which secures your place.
Wrekin Senior and Wrekin Sixth - Entrance assessments for Year 7 take place in November. For other year groups (including Sixth Form), assessments are scheduled individually. Sixth Form entry includes a bespoke process involving GCSE results and interviews with Heads of Department. As long as entry requirements are met and we are happy that your child can access our curriculum, a formal offer will be made. An acceptance fee secures your place.
