Our Unique approach

Preparation for life not just exams

Central to our philosophy is The Wrekin Way – our unique approach to education which puts pupils at the heart of everything we do. We aim to nurture young people who are ambitious, curious, adventurous, and kind – prepared not just for exams, but for life.

Wrekin is a thriving co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 4 to 18, set in beautiful grounds in the heart of Shropshire. Our unique setting combines historic architecture with modern facilities, offering the perfect environment for pupils to learn, grow, and flourish.

We are proud to offer an education that is ambitious in its academic rigour, rich in co-curricular opportunity, and grounded in strong pastoral care. Whether in the classroom, on the stage, in the laboratory or on the sports field, Wrekinians are encouraged to aim high, explore their passions and develop their character.
