Futures Lecture on Primary Education
As part of the Futures Lecture Series at Wrekin Senior, Miss Griffiths delivered an engaging session on careers in Primary Education. Senior pupils gained first-hand insight into the profession, including the different routes into teaching, training requirements, and the day-to-day responsibilities of working in a primary school.
The session provided pupils with a unique opportunity to explore the realities of a teaching career and understand the skills, dedication, and passion required to inspire young learners. Pupils were encouraged to ask questions, reflect on the profession, and consider whether a future in education might be right for them.
This lecture is part of Wrekin Senior’s Futures programme, which supports Wrekinians in preparing for their futures by helping them make informed career choices and broadening their understanding of professional pathways.
