Pancake Day Maths
As part of our 'Maths is Fun!' journey the children were given a range of pancake-themed mathematical problems and activities on Pancake Day.
Lower School had a pancake tossing competition with rules to follow, accurate counting to be done and timing one minute. The most pancakes tossed by one child was 24 in one minute! Our pupils then used the data to create bar charts to compare pancake tosses.
Year 4 have solved the mystery of the stolen pancakes using their Maths skills; addition, times tables, coordinates etc.
