Year 2 Take on the January Challenge
Setting resolutions and embracing new challenges
Our Year 2 pupils have been thinking about New Year’s resolutions and have set a January challenge of: learning to tie our own shoelaces. From the first day back, pupils have been reflecting on the school aims: embracing challenge, building confidence, taking every opportunity, and enjoying the learning journey.
This simple task also helps to develop independence, perseverance, and a sense of achievement that supports learning across the classroom and beyond. Well done, Year 2!
