Year 4 Residential- Outdoor Alternative
Year 4 had a brilliant time at Outdoor Alternative.
After arriving, they got stuck in with the first activity, rock pooling, where they explored the coastline to see what natural life they could find. The brilliant sunshine meant that the pupils were able to explore and enjoy the beautiful walks that the Rhoscolyn Bay has to offer during orienteering.
Their second day had tram work, which involved team work and skill building. They also headed out onto the water for a spot of paddleboarding, which was great activity full of teamwork and a perfect start to the morning. After lunch some of the children braved the Irish Sea during the canoeing adventure. They all jumped out of the boat and swam back to shore! Luckily the sun was out for Year 4 to enjoy coasteering and rock pooling.
Our pupils have also had lots of fun in the water canoeing and coasteering. They have clearly enjoyed getting stuck-in trying out different water sports, and their instructors were impressed with their ability in the water. It was a jam-packed adventure full of new experiences, and of course lots of fun and laughter.
