Here at Wrekin Prep we take pride in the comprehensive curriculum we offer our children, offering robust support while presenting opportunities for growth and challenge. Our extensive co-curricular and Horizons programme complements this curriculum and regular parents' evenings and reports mean that you, as parents, know exactly what your child is achieving, and where they can improve.
Subject Specialists
While class teachers serve as the primary academic and pastoral support for children, an integral aspect of our exceptional education involves having subject specialists. At Wrekin Prep we have subject specialist teachers in Science, Music and Drama, Digital Technology (ICT), Spanish, Sport, Swimming, Innovation and Art bringing their knowledge and expertise to each subject, inspiring their pupils.
Support
At Wrekin Prep we have an excellent Support for Learning department. We offer both group and one-to-one support, for no additional fee, to pupils who have additional learning needs. Pupils are assessed to ensure no early warning signs are missed and, together with parents, we work together to ensure that pupils have the skills they need to thrive.

At Wrekin Prep, our Lower and Upper School years are carefully designed to support each stage of a child’s development. In the Lower School, children build strong foundations through creative play, focused teaching and a nurturing environment where individuality is celebrated. As they move into the Upper School, specialist teaching and broader opportunities help pupils grow as independent thinkers, confident learners and kind, capable members of our community.

Many clubs are included at no extra cost, with just a few specialist sessions offered for a small additional charge—making every moment count.
