2P Take Us On a Journey Through the Monarchy
Class 2P led a lively and informative class assembly all about the British monarchy. Wearing their crowns, the pupils guided the audience through the lives and achievements of three famous queens: Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II.
Through a combination of speaking, singing and storytelling, the pupils shared interesting facts about each monarch and highlighted the important moments of their reigns. To round off the presentation, the audience was invited to take part in a quiz to test how much they had learned about the three queens.
The morning finished with a special performance from the Training Choir of Year 1 and Year 2, who delighted everyone with a song that brought the assembly to a joyful close.
