A Royal Mystery Begins in Year 2
Year 2 pupils returned to school to begin an exciting new topic, introduced through a royal-themed mystery. The children were presented with a letter and a series of intriguing clues from Prince George, future heir to the throne.
Pupils have been challenged to piece together the clues and solve the riddle as they begin learning more about royal ancestors. These include a corgi, a map of British India, and a Tudor rose. The mystery has sparked curiosity and discussion as the children consider which monarchs they will be finding out about as the topic unfolds.
