A Special Evening of Music with Philip Stopford
We were delighted to welcome audiences to a memorable evening of music at Wrekin for the Philip Stopford Concert.
The evening featured performances from the combined choirs of Wrekin alongside members of the Jackfield Brass Band, with guest conductor Philip Stopford leading the performance.
It was a varied and engaging programme, showcasing the talent, commitment and musicality of all those involved. The collaboration between pupils and musicians created a particularly special atmosphere throughout the concert.
The concert supported the Christie Cancer Hospital in memory of Peter Grimsdale. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported a worthy cause. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and a wonderful celebration of music within the Wrekin community.
