Academic Lecture: Guide Dogs UK
For the second Academic Lecture of the term we welcomed Wendy and her trainers from Guide Dogs UK.
It was a fantastic presentation on the fabulous work the charity does for those who need assistance dogs. We were also given demonstration on how they train the dogs to support those with visual impairments and their families, and how they navigate practical obstacles in real-world situations
Wendy proved very popular and enjoyed the fuss and attention from pupils and staff alike!
