Adventure, Teamwork, Success: Gold DofE Expedition Completed
Gold DofE Expedition: A Test of Endurance and Teamwork
Last week, 25 Upper Sixth students took part in their Gold qualifying Duke of Edinburgh expedition, spending four days and three nights hiking through the breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia.
The weather certainly put them to the test, with strong winds and torrential rain challenging the group at every turn. Despite these conditions, the students remained cheerful, motivated, and supportive of one another throughout the journey.
Over the course of the expedition, participants navigated difficult terrain, set up and broke down camp daily, and developed skills in planning, problem-solving, and leadership. Their dedication and perseverance paid off, with all students passing the Gold expedition with flying colours.
Congratulations to everyone involved for completing this incredible achievement; an experience they will remember for years to come!
