Art Week Sparks Imagination
As part of Art Week, we were delighted to welcome artist Nick Halahan from OLAS Art. Pupils from across the school had the chance to explore graffiti-inspired techniques in hands-on workshops, decorating vinyls and experimenting with colour, style, and creative expression.
In addition, pupils contributed to wider collaborative projects around the school, including three large-scale boards reflecting a villain and hero theme from World Book Day, which will be displayed in the library, and another board celebrating our Wrekin Prep House mascots, soon to be showcased within the school.
This vibrant, imaginative work is a wonderful example of how Wrekin’s focus on art as a specialism nurtures creativity, curiosity, and confidence, giving pupils the chance to express themselves.
