Blists Hill
Our Year 1 pupils ventured to Blists Hill Victorian Town for an engaging and educational day experiencing life as it would have been in Victorian times. The day included interactions with characters in full Victorian costume, demonstrations of traditional crafts as well as the opportunity to walk around an array of authentic shops and streets.
Each of our pupils took well to Victorian life as they donned their caps, scarves, aprons and utility jackets and learned how different their lives might have been had they been born more than a century ago.
A great day out bringing history to life!
