Blue Day
Yesterday, Old Hall pupils and teachers came together in their blue clothes to raise awareness for the very special Alder Hey Children's Charity. The whole school gathered together to listen to our guest speaker, Lily Fox, who joined us from Alder Hey Children's Charity to talk about the important work they do to support children and families who are working through very challenging circumstances. We thoroughly enjoyed learning so much about the hospital itself and the amazing charity that supports everything that happens there.
The Old Hall community has worked very hard in their fundraising efforts in recent weeks and we are delighted to announce that we are able to donate £376.00 to Alder Hey Children's Charity, Shropshire Deaf Children's Charity and Fairtrade. Thank you to pupils who inspired our chosen charities this year and for all the staff who played a part in helping us, as a community, to achieve this fantastic target.
