CCF Field Day
Cadets enhanced their skills, completed assessments, and gained valuable experience in both Army and RAF sections
The CCF held their termly field day, providing cadets with the opportunity to develop practical skills and leadership.
Army Section:
The Third Form focused on learning the cadet rifle, with many visiting Dawley Barracks for hands-on instruction. They progressed quickly through their lessons, demonstrating strong skills and drills. Meanwhile, senior cadets completed the assessment phase of their Cadet Force Instructor Training, delivering high-quality lessons both indoors and outdoors. Congratulations to the four cadets who successfully earned their qualifications.
RAF Section:
The RAF section spent the day training for the upcoming Royal Air Squadron Trophy competition. Senior cadets led sessions covering first aid, patrolling, drill, and leadership. With favourable weather and excellent engagement from all cadets, the day concluded with everyone gaining new skills and valuable experience.
