Children in Need 2025: Coin Trail Challenge

This year, our School Council led a fantastic initiative for Children in Need by organising a coin collecting competition. Pupils were invited to collect as many coins as possible from home; bronze, silver, or gold, and bring them in to school in a bag or sealed envelope. The aim was to create a coin trail around the school, showcasing the generosity and creativity of our students.

Today, all the coins were collected in classrooms and used to build the trail, while pupils also showed their support by adding something yellow or spotty to their uniforms, such as headbands, scarves, or bracelets.

Even Pudsey Bear has been helping out in the office with Mrs Hartland-Griffiths and is absolutely delighted with the pupils’ efforts.

It was wonderful to see the school community come together to raise funds and awareness for Children in Need. The children’s enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity helped make this year’s fundraising effort a huge success!
