Fairtrade Fortnight
Monday 9th September 2024 marked the start of Fairtrade Fortnight to celebrate 30 years of Fairtrade, and as a school with Fairtrade status, we have been getting involved to raise awareness and highlight the important work that Fairtrade do.
As part of the celebrations, Year 4 made birthday cards to mark Fairtrade's 30th birthday. Reception made their own Fairtrade chocolate. They discussed different products found while out shopping, smelt coffee beans, and looked at the process of a solid turning into a liquid. Reception then made a brilliant display all about it!
