It has been an exciting week for Wrekin Prep football!
A huge congratulations to our girls’ football team for an outstanding performance at the IAPS tournament. The team battled their way to the Plate Final, narrowly losing 1–0 in a tightly contested match. Throughout the tournament, the girls displayed remarkable skill and determination, conceding only three goals overall and producing two fantastic penalty shootout saves. Their teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship were a real credit to the school.
Meanwhile, it was a day of celebration for our Under 9 teams, who both came away victorious! Both the Under 9 A and B sides showed superb skill, teamwork, and determination throughout their matches. Every player gave their all, resulting in two brilliant wins and plenty of smiles all round. A huge well done to all the pupils and staff involved.
