Football Tournament Winners!
Old Hall enjoyed double success at the Shrewsbury School Prep Football Tournament.
The Under 11 Girls enjoyed a brilliant undefeated day of football, winning five games, drawing two and only conceding one goal! They played excellent football and got better and better as the day went on to win the trophy.
The Under 11 Boys finished second in their group, lining up a semi-final fixture against the winners of Group B. Old Hall were victorious and played the final against The Ryleys, who had beaten them earlier in the day 2-1. The final was very close but a last-minute equaliser by Old Hall led to penalties. After no less than 12 penalties for each team, the score was tied and both coaches decided a draw was the fair result, meaning both Old Hall and The Ryleys were crowned joint winners!
What a brilliant day for the Under 11 football teams of Old Hall!
