Fourth Form Artists Visit Tate Modern
Our Fourth Form artists travelled to London to visit Tate Modern, exploring a range of contemporary artworks and gaining inspiration for their own creative projects.
A highlight of the visit was seeing Surrealist works connected to their current Art GCSE studies, alongside an exhibition exploring the work and influence of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo.
The visit gave pupils the opportunity to experience these artworks first-hand, deepen their understanding of different artistic approaches and see connections between their classroom studies and the wider art world.
