Future Diplomats in Action at MUN
Fifteen Wrekinians took part in a weekend of global discussion and debate
Over the weekend, fifteen Wrekin students took part in the Model United Nations Conference hosted by Cheadle Hulme School. Representing the nations of Japan and Sierra Leone, thirteen pupils participated as delegates, while two took on the important role of guest chairs.
Throughout the two-day event, delegates engaged in lively debates and negotiations with pupils from schools across the country. They tackled global issues, developed resolutions, and honed their skills in diplomacy, teamwork, and public speaking, all while working towards the shared goal of fostering international understanding and peace.
The weekend provided an excellent opportunity for pupils to experience the challenges and rewards of international relations in a collaborative, academic setting. Wrekin is proud of all those who represented the school with confidence, insight, and respect throughout the conference.
