GCSE Drama students enjoyed a fantastic trip to Stratford-upon-Avon, immersing themselves in the theatrical world of William Shakespeare.
The day began with an enlightening talk from the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, offering fascinating insights into the life and times of the Bard. Students then visited his family home in the heart of the town, gaining a real sense of the world that shaped his writing.
In the afternoon, the group explored behind the scenes of the Royal Shakespeare Company on a fascinating backstage tour, discovering how world-class productions are brought to life.
The trip concluded with a thought-provoking performance of Measure for Measure, leaving students inspired and full of ideas for their own drama work back at school.
