Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award Qualifying Expedition
Twenty-one Wrekin students have successfully completed their Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award Qualifying Expedition in Snowdonia, spending four days navigating the mountains, wild camping and working together in three expedition groups.
From planning routes and navigating challenging terrain to carrying all their equipment and camping independently, the expedition tested their resilience, teamwork and determination. Throughout the four days, the students demonstrated outstanding perseverance and supported one another as they tackled the physical and mental demands of the expedition.
Congratulations to all 21 participants on reaching this significant milestone in their Gold DofE journey. Their commitment and achievement reflect the spirit of adventure and personal development that lies at the heart of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
