History Battlefields Trip
Our students had a fantastic time on the History Battlefields trip, widening their studies beyond the classroom by seeing the battlefields of WWI.
The trip also served as an act of remembrance, with students being involved in the Last Post ceremony at Menin Gate, and Bella and Jamie played the Last Post in a ceremony at St George's Church, Ypres, where the plaque commemorating the Old Wrekinians who lost their lives is dedicated.
Seeing the historic sites first-hand was an opportunity to immerse themselves in their studies.
