House Singing 2026
We are delighted to announce that this year’s House Singing theme is... Football!
With the FIFA World Cup 2026 on the horizon, the Lionesses being European champions, and football’s huge popularity across the school, this year’s theme promises to be energetic, inclusive and great fun for everyone involved.
After much deliberation, the four House Singing songs for this year will be:
World in Motion – the iconic 1990 England World Cup song
You’ll Never Walk Alone – one of the most recognisable and emotive football anthems of all time
Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) – the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup
Three Lions (Football’s Coming Home) – written for Euro ’96, hosted by England
We’re looking forward to seeing (and hearing!) the enthusiasm this theme brings; let the countdown to House Singing begin!
