Lancaster House Opens Its Doors in New Co-Ed Building

Boys and girls come together for the first time in Lancaster’s new co-educational building

This term marks an important new chapter for Lancaster House, which has moved into its new building. For the first time, boys and girls are brought together in a truly co-educational setting, reflecting the evolving Wrekin experience.

Sadie-Beth Holder has assumed the role of Housemistress, leading the house as it settles into its new home. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr Neil Griffiths, one of the first Lancasters and current Chair of the OWA, who formally opened the house to mark this significant occasion.

The ‘new’ Lancaster House now unites all its pupils under one roof, providing a welcoming and structured environment for learning, personal development, and community life. This represents an important step for all Lancasters in their Wrekin journeys.
