Lancaster Pupils Take Part in Model United Nations
Fifteen Lancaster pupils represented the school at the Model United Nations (MUN) Conference hosted by Moreton Hall.
Taking on the roles of delegates for Eritrea, Italy and the People's Republic of China, students debated a range of global issues, including human rights, environmental challenges and the impact of artificial intelligence. They also responded to a live 'crisis' scenario, requiring them to work collaboratively, think critically and negotiate solutions under pressure.
The conference provided an excellent opportunity for pupils to develop their public speaking, diplomacy and debating skills while gaining a greater understanding of international relations and the work of the United Nations.
A special congratulations goes to Albert and Toby, who were both commended for their outstanding contributions and debating skills within their respective committees.
Well done to all fifteen pupils for representing Lancaster with confidence, professionalism and enthusiasm throughout the event.
