Lois Shaves Her Head to Support Acacia Family Support
Lois has once again demonstrated remarkable courage and generosity by shaving her head to raise money for Acacia Family Support, the Roslyn House charity.
This is not the first time Lois has taken on the challenge. Having first shaved her head in Second Form, she wanted to do it again before leaving Wrekin, using the opportunity to support a cause that means a great deal to Roslyn House and the wider Wrekin community.
Acacia Family Support provides essential support to mothers and families affected by pre- and post-natal depression, offering guidance, understanding and practical help during what can be an incredibly challenging time. Through her fundraising, Lois is helping the charity continue its important work while raising awareness of the support it provides.
The head shave took place in Chapel, where students and staff gathered to cheer Lois on and show their support. It was a memorable moment that reflected the kindness, courage and community spirit that are such an important part of life at Wrekin.
We are incredibly proud of Lois for taking on this challenge and grateful to everyone who has donated so far.
