Mock Trial
Our much-anticipated Mock Trial took place.
We welcomed Mr J Brown, a recent addition to the Bar, to be our guest Judge.
The legal issue that was being disputed was whether the defendant was guilty of carrying a bladed article, in a public place, contrary to the Criminal Justice Act 1988.
The defendant was acquitted as the jury delivered a majority verdict, after some deliberation, of not guilty. Therefore, handing Ayla and Tabitha the mooting victory.
Everyone displayed very promising traits for future Law professionals.
