Model United Nations
Some of our Lancaster pupils took part in the Mini Model United Nations Conference.
Model UN is a recreation of the United Nations, our pupils formed delegations from Ethiopia and Hungary and debated topical issues that face the world today. The theme of the conference was “Unity” and it was a great chance for our pupils to utilise and develop their debating skills and public speaking.
Our delegations performed brilliantly, resulting in a number of awards. Emily was awarded the Highly Commended Delegate, Tilly the Best Junior Delegate, and Daisy was judged to be the Outstanding Delegate, which means the best in her committee. Well done everyone for a great day at the United Nations!
