Wrekin Prep Pupils Shine with Outstanding LAMDA Results
We are absolutely delighted to share the fantastic LAMDA results achieved by Wrekin Prep pupils over the summer. This was the very first set of results awarded under the new Ofqual-regulated specification introduced in 2024, a more rigorous standard, making the pupils’ success even more impressive.
A total of 50 pupils from Year 3 to Year 6 took exams across Acting, Verse & Prose, and Public Speaking, and the results speak for themselves:

100% of pupils received a Merit or Distinction (64% of pupils received a Distinction)
This is an outstanding achievement, and we are incredibly proud of the hard work, talent, and dedication shown by all our pupils.
We will be celebrating this success properly in a Celebration Assembly, where certificates and badges will be awarded to pupils. Year 7 pupils who sat their Grade 2 Acting exams at Wrekin Prep will also receive their certificates as they move into Senior School – they will now continue their journey starting at LAMDA Grade 3.
