Prep Cricket
Old Hall sent two Under 11 Girls Cricket teams, and two Under 11 Boys Cricket teams to the Wrekin Prep Cricket Festival. It was a fantastic two days of cricket in brilliant sunshine.
In the Girls' festival, the Bs had some tough matches but fought hard to finish 3rd in their group. The As managed to finish top of their group and then face Ellesmere in the final. It was a tense match coming down to the last over, with some mature and steady bowling from captain, Nilly. Old Hall clinched the win for the second year running! All girls in the team contributed hugely and have gone from strength to strength this year, being part of the first Old Hall Girls hardball cricket team. Well done!
Meanwhile, the Boys' festival saw both teams play strong cricket, batting and bowling amongst a tough field of teams. It was fantastic to see our pupils enjoying their cricket in the sunshine at Wrekin.
